Formed by Alison Jolicoeur and community advocates, CJ Brooks, and Shawn Keeler — together we created the Working Together Independent line to give every resident a voice beyond party labels. Too often, politics divides us — but local government should be about solutions, not partisanship.
Alison's Vision

Streamline Permitting – Enable electronic submission of permit applications for business and property owners to make the process faster, more transparent, and easier to navigate.

Independent Oversight – Establish a committee, which would include local contractors and architects to review zoning codes and assess building and development procedures for fairness and clarity.

Smart Economic Growth – Develop creative revenue strategies and a clear plan for growth that celebrates and shares our natural resources — benefiting residents, visitors, and our environment.

Regional Collaboration – Partner with neighboring communities to expand opportunities for economic development, ecosystem regeneration, and access to locally produced farm-fresh food.

Responsive Government – Foster leadership that actively listens and works with residents through regular town halls, clear communication, and genuine collaboration with all interested parties.
