Formed by Alison Jolicoeur and community advocates, Shawn Keeler, and David Axin— together we created the Working Together Independent line to give every resident a voice beyond party labels. Too often, politics divides us, but local government should be about solutions, not partisanship.
Alison's Vision
Since taking office, I have worked to build a town government that communicates, collaborates, and gets things done. I am committed to:​

Transparent Communication: Bi-weekly department head meetings, open dialogue, and monthly newsletters keep Town Hall and residents connected and informed.

Revitalized Lake Protection: Re-envisioned the Commission of Lakes to strengthen collaboration and focus on protecting our lakes and waterways.

Resources for the Future: Secured a Hudson River Valley Greenway grant to update Putnam Valley’s Comprehensive Plan and create a community-driven vision for our future.

Community Collaboration: Bringing residents, committees, organizations, and Town departments together to find solutions and move Putnam Valley forward while preserving the rural character that makes our town special.
